Privacy Policy
IVFfolio is built around one rule: your cycle data stays on your phone. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app stores, what — if anything — ever leaves your device, and how to delete everything whenever you want.
The short version
- No account, no sign-up, no login — you never give us an email or password.
- No cloud sync, no CloudKit, no server database. IVFfolio has no "your data" endpoint, because your data is never sent to us.
- Your cycles, medications, dose logs, appointments, and supply counts live only on your iPhone.
- Nothing leaves your device unless you personally choose to export and share a CSV or PDF.
- We never sell your data, and we never share your health information with third parties, for any purpose.
What the app stores, and where
When you use IVFfolio, everything you enter — cycle details, medication names and doses, the schedule you set, a log of doses you've marked as taken, appointments, supply counts, and any notes you add — is saved locally on your iPhone using SwiftData, Apple's on-device storage framework. It lives inside IVFfolio's private storage area on your phone, the same way a note in the built-in Notes app stays on your phone. There is no account tied to it, no backend server it talks to, and no copy sitting on infrastructure we operate. We couldn't see your data even if we wanted to — it's simply never transmitted to us.
When you export your data
IVFfolio lets you export your cycle log as a CSV or a formatted PDF, for your own records or to hand to your clinic. That export uses iOS's own share sheet — the same system window you'd see sharing a photo — and it's entirely up to you where it goes: email, Files, AirDrop, print, or elsewhere. Once you choose a destination, that copy is subject to whatever you and that destination do with it; IVFfolio doesn't keep a copy, and we don't receive one either.
Product analytics, if analytics is enabled
IVFfolio may include an optional, anonymous product-analytics integration (PostHog) to help us understand which features are actually used and where the app runs into trouble. If analytics is enabled in your build, it can send: event names (for example, "app opened" or "reminder marked complete") and non-health technical metadata such as device model, iOS version, and app version. It never sends medication names, doses, times, appointment details, supply counts, or any other health-related value you've entered — those stay local, full stop. If the analytics key isn't configured for a given build, none of this happens at all.
The marketing website's analytics
Separately from the app, this website (ivffolio.com) may use privacy-focused, cookieless analytics to see aggregate traffic patterns — which pages get visited, and roughly where visitors are coming from. This is website-traffic data only. It has no connection to the app, to your cycle data, or to anything you enter inside IVFfolio, and it can't be used to identify you personally.
No selling, no sharing of health data
We don't sell your data — there's nothing to sell, since it never reaches us. We don't share your health information (medications, doses, appointments, cycle details) with any third party, advertiser, or data broker, for any reason.
Deleting your data
Because everything lives on your phone, deleting it is entirely in your control:
- In the app, go to Settings and choose to delete all data — this clears everything IVFfolio has stored.
- Deleting the app itself removes all of its local data along with it.
There's no account to close and no server-side copy to request deletion of, because none exists.
Children's privacy
IVFfolio is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under 13. It's built for adults managing their own IVF cycle.
Changes to this policy
If we change how IVFfolio handles data, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above. Given the app doesn't collect anything beyond what's described here, we don't expect that to happen often.
