Terms of Use
These are the terms for using IVFfolio (the "App"). They're written in plain language on purpose — the short version is: this is an organizational tool, not a medical one, and by using the App you agree to the terms below.
Not a medical device
IVFfolio is an organizational and reminder tool, not a medical device. It does not interpret your results, recommend doses, or give medical advice of any kind. It logs what you tell it and reminds you on the schedule you set — it does not know whether that schedule is medically correct. Always follow your clinic's instructions. If anything in the App ever appears to conflict with what your clinic has told you, your clinic's guidance governs, not the App.
Agreement to these terms
By downloading, installing, or using IVFfolio, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the App.
What the app does
IVFfolio is a clerical, organizational tool for an IVF cycle: it tracks medications, doses, appointments, and supply counts that you enter yourself, and it sends reminders based on the schedule you set. It does not connect to your clinic's records, does not analyze your results, and does not offer clinical guidance of any kind. No account is required to use it.
Subscriptions and pricing
The free tier covers your current cycle, in full — every medication, every reminder. The optional Plus tier is available as:
- Monthly — $4.99/mo, an auto-renewing subscription.
- Yearly — $34.99/yr, an auto-renewing subscription.
- Lifetime — $59.99 once, a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription, does not renew, and is never billed again.
Where offered, a 7-day free trial is opt-in only — it does not start automatically just from installing the App.
Monthly and Yearly subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same length of term unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings — IVFfolio cannot cancel or refund a subscription on your behalf; that's handled entirely by Apple. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.
Reminders are best-effort
Medication and appointment reminders depend on iOS notification permissions being granted, and on the state of your device — battery, Do Not Disturb or Focus settings, whether the phone is powered on and has been restarted recently, and iOS itself delivering the notification. IVFfolio does its part to schedule and deliver reminders reliably, but it cannot guarantee delivery in every condition. Do not rely on IVFfolio as your only safeguard for a time-critical medication — for anything where a missed or late dose matters, also use a backup alarm, a partner, or another method you already trust.
Your responsibilities
IVFfolio only organizes and reminds you of what you enter. You're responsible for entering your clinic's actual protocol accurately and for keeping it up to date when your clinic changes it. The App has no way to verify that what you've entered matches what your clinic prescribed.
No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IVFfolio and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any missed dose, missed appointment, or other outcome arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including reminders that were delayed, not delivered, or not acted on.
Changes to the app or these terms
We may update the App or these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make a material change to these terms, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
You can stop using IVFfolio at any time by deleting the App. We may also discontinue or change the App at our discretion; because your data lives only on your device, nothing about that decision affects data you've already stored or exported.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
